This is a special park in Setauket, NY, tucked away, hard to find, but well worth it.
We had many things to choose to paint here. A watermill, red barn, lake, lush trees. The weather was also spectacular! Love these autumn days.

Andrews Family Farm Oct 7 &14, 2014

Beautiful farmstand, so artfully arranged by owner Denise...a treat for the eyes and everything is so fresh and delicious!....Still the best apples I've EVER tasted anywhere!
For some crazy reason the winds picked up while we were there painting, it felt like 50mph to me! But we didn't care, we were having the best time painting away!

Shelter Island 9/23/14
PALS had a great adventure heading out by car to Eastern Long Island, then by ferry to Shelter Island to paint en Plein Air for the day.
Gorgeous sunshine, and such a special and peaceful place to paint.
We had a great day, and even stopped at the local library and bought books at their book sale.
We finished our field trip with a late lunch at Maria's, a wonderful little cafe with really fresh food
and friendly service. We really enjoyed each others company. Life is good.
