Shelter Island 9/23/14

PALS had a great adventure heading out by car to Eastern Long Island, then by ferry to Shelter Island to paint en Plein Air for the day.
Gorgeous sunshine, and such a special and peaceful place to paint.
We had a great day, and even stopped at the local library and bought books at their book sale.
We finished our field trip with a late lunch at Maria's, a wonderful little cafe with really fresh food

and friendly service. We really enjoyed each others company. Life is good.
